Great idea!! Im going to build these :) Can you clarify: did you use 2x2 wood OR 1x1? Video timestamp of 9:16 you say "we used 2x2", but at the same time your "materials list" on the screen says 1x1 (if im understanding all this correctly). Can you clarify the size of wood i should use to make them like yours. Thank you. I have a terrible squirrel problem. I like that these come apart. Also do you have any updates on using them.

I paid so much money for Kellogg Organic Garden Soil for my raised beds from Home Depot. When I started placing the soil, I noticed it was full of ground up plastic bits and pieces, hardly Organic! It was supposed to be nutrient rich as well, but all of my starts have stalled and nothing is growing. I've used other soils in the past and never had any issues like this. Super disappointed in this supposed Organic Soil. After spending over $200 on this substandard growing medium, I can't recommend their product.

Thank you for the basic reminders of how to look at the color and the texture and to know what should be the typical readiness based on the type of tomato, mostly too for keeping the video to the point, which keeps it kind of short and doable because we all love to watch videos, right?! Thank you.

It's really difficult when you live in the southern USA because it is hot and frequently afternoon thunderstorms, so some of your advice isn't possible. I plant a lot of containers, and full sun plants are supposed to have 6+ hours of direct sun which mine don't get with only 12-4 or so. The young transplants will wilt even though the soil is wet on top. Then we have days where it's showers and overcast all day for three days in a row. Some plants just quickly die (I have had this with million bells and begonias) and the containers seem to be waterlogged, so I am trying your potting mix this year to see if it makes a difference from Miracle-Gro. I think it's hard on them too, moving from greenhouse and sellers to our yards.

Hey, really found the video educational! Had no idea the leaves could be eaten. I'm living in a colder climate where the winters are long, what can I do during the winter, once the plant has grown on the trellis on my balcony? Do I leave it out and let the leaves to fall? Does the plant die?

Casanova is so relaxed but so are you. It does my heart good to see the relationship you two have. I'm watching bc a neighbor believes the pullets they bought contains a cockerel and wanted to know if we would take it. We will but I'm new to roosters so I want to do right by it. Therefore I am researching as much as I can to let it live it's best life. Hopefully, there will be no freezer camp. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and Casanova. Thank you.

Yea so speaking of soil…I went against my better judgement & bought Kellogg’s garden soil. OMG the worse soil I’ve even seen. It had tons of wood chips, as big as 3in long. All my veggies didn’t take after transplanting them to that garbage “soil”. NEVER AGAIN!!!

To help in avoiding cuts or accidental sticks to hands or body reinforce cut edges with strip of duct tape or similar brand. Also helps to anchor screws and/or nails if at connecting point of sections of wire. Great presentation.

While farm and backyard raised hen’s eggs are different from the commercial eggs, the different colors of the shell does make a difference between them. White shelled eggs from hens raised in a farm are not much, if any different from the brown and other colored ones raised in the same farm.
